HGV Driver Location: Exeter and Bridgwater Pay Rate: £25 per hour Contract Length: 2 months Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team. The role involves driving a 7.5t vehicle to distribute construction materials between the site compound and work areas in Bridgwater, with the vehicle being returned to the Exeter depot each weekend. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver construction materials between the site compound and work areas in Bridgwater. Ensure the vehicle is maintained and properly checked before and after each journey. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Transport goods in a timely and efficient manner. Return the vehicle to the Exeter depot at the end of each week. Assist with loading and unloading materials when required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including relevant paperwork and timesheets. Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations. Key Skills and Qualifications: CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme). Full clean driving licence. Relevant category to drive a 7.5t vehicle. Up-to-date Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence). Good knowledge of road safety regulations and the ability to drive safely in various weather and traffic conditions. Ability to work efficiently and independently.
