They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Manager to oversee their new sector of work across London and on the outskirts of the M25.ResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery of key business performance targetsManage and support the Technical team and external consultantsTo assist and co-operate with the Planning Department in the planning process and ensure accurate Technical information is provided for planning applications.Experience of managing and providing guidance and support to new build schemesBe able to lead and manage a teamsArrange, co-ordinate and manage all technical meetings with other departments in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all relevant action points are noted and recordedPrepare and maintain design programmes and documents for the monitoring of progress and for use in reporting to the management team.Personal Specification and RequirementsDegree Qualified / HNC / ONCCapable of Bid writing and Bid managementExperienced in overseeing a variety of projectAutoCAD, Excel, Word, Power Projects, Power PointDesign and engineering construction knowledgeTechnical and Building Construction knowledgeBuilding Regulations knowledgeA good understanding NHBC legislationGood understanding of Planning legislationHighly motivated with strong desire to grow within the businessGood problem solver and work with minimal instructionSmart, presentable and happy to deal directly with customersPunctual, reliable and good practical skillsEstablished track record of delivering projects on time and within budgetThis is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is seeking a Career Progression.
