This role is critical in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees, visitors, and the environment across our operational sites.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in waste management.Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement control measures.Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring accurate reporting and corrective actions.Promote a strong safety culture through training, engagement, and continuous improvement.Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders on safety matters.Manage health and safety data systems and reporting mechanisms.Requirements:Essential:NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.Membership of IOSH or IIRSM.Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety audits.Excellent communication and ICT skills.Desirable:NEBOSH National Diploma or Level 6 qualification.Experience in waste processing or similar environments.Project ma
