Quality Technician Goole DN14 - £28-30k (14 month Maternity Cover), days only, 25 days holidays plus stats. 40 hrs: Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm (some flexibility with start and finish times) Quality technician is a Monday to Friday job with duties that are vital to ensure quality is maintained in a highly regulated, food manufacturing environment. The duties of the quality technician include: Working with the QA team to ensure sampling schedules are maintained, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation relating to product safety and legality and supporting the maintenance of the company s accreditation results. Conducting internal audits to schedule, highlighting any non-conformances, investigating, and following up on corrective actions to ensure satisfactory closure e.g. GMP audits, fabrication and glass and hard plastic audits. Mixing and controlling solutions for testing, coordinating submission of samples to third party laboratories or customers and generating Certificates of Analysis for customers. Shelf-life testing of raw materials and finished products as well as some laboratory testing of oils for the food and cosmetic industries using both traditional chemistry techniques e.g. titration and analytical equipment, maintaining the upkeep of the laboratory, consumables, and the equipment.
