With the automotive world transitioning from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles, you''ll be at the heart of this change, shaping the future of mobility while advancing your career in a challenging and rewarding environment.What You Will Do:• Develop sourcing strategies that leverage the transition from internal combustion engines to battery electric vehicles, ensuring value, quality, and efficiency.• Conduct benchmarking activities and market tests to maintain a world-class supply base.• Complete sourcing documentation in line with programme timing and cost targets.• Place production purchase and tooling orders in accordance with purchasing procedures.• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive cost reduction initiatives through effective negotiation and collaboration.• Handle raw material negotiations and support distressed supplier management to ensure supply chain stability.What You Will Bring:• Proven experience in a purchasing role within the automotive industry, along with a degree qualification or equivalent experience.• Strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Demonstrable understanding of the challenges facing the auto
