Assistant Accountant - Entertainment - Surrey
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team. Operating within a creative, multi-entity environment, this role offers variety, exposure, and the chance to develop your technical skills while supporting a business that delivers engaging experiences to audiences worldwide. Working on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office), offering great exposure and working closely with a Finance Director. Key duties: Post bank transactions and perform timely and accurate account reconciliationsManage billing and credit control across multiple entities and revenue streamsAct as a key point of contact for finance queries, delivering a high standard of service to internal and external stakeholdersMaintain robust accounting controls and contribute to accurate and timely internal reportingActively participate in and support the annual audit processProvide flexible, ad-hoc support to the Finance team and wider business as requiredKey skills:Currently studying towards (or interested in pursuing) an accounting qualificationExperience in Accounts Receivable, including credit control, KPI ownership, and reportingStrong numerical and analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solvingWell-organised with effective time management and the ability to prioritise workloadClear and confident communicator, both written and verbalProficient in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suitFamiliarity with Mi
