We are currently recruiting for an experienced Import and Export Air Freight Operator to join a busy and established freight forwarding team on a 9-month maternity cover contract.This role is ideal for someone with strong end-to-end air freight experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and familiar with CargowiseKey ResponsibilitiesHandling air freight import and export shipments end-to-endCreating and processing documentation (HAWB, MAWB, customs entries where required)Booking shipments with airlines and handling agentsLiaising with overseas agents, customers, and airlinesMonitoring shipments and providing proactive updatesCompleting entries and maintaining accurate records in CargoWiseEnsuring all compliance and security procedures are followedRequirementsProven experience in air freight imports and exportsStrong working knowledge of CargoWiseAbility to manage shipments from start to finish independentlyExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work to deadlines in a busy environmentMust be able to pass a full 5-year employment and referencing checkWhat''s on Offer9-month fixed-term contractMonday to Friday working hoursTwo shift options: 08:00 - 16:30 or 08:30 - 17:30Opportunity to join a supportive and professional freight teamIf you are an experienced Air Freight Operator looking for your next contract opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
