Da Vinci Engineering Ltd is a growing surveying and site engineering company based in West London (NW10), working with contractors, developers, architects and consultants across London. We are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer / Engineering Surveyor to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. The Role The primary focus of the position is setting out and site engineering. The successful candidate must be confident working independently on construction sites using Leica surveying equipment. Depending on project requirements, you may be based on one project for an extended period or work across different sites throughout London. Key Responsibilities Carry out setting out independently on construction projects Establish, check and maintain site control, benchmarks, coordinates and levels Set out grids, steel frames, piles, foundations, ground beams, walls, columns, drainage, services and external works Prepare and check setting-out coordinates from AutoCAD drawings Read and interpret architectural, structural and civil engineering drawings Operate Leica robotic total stations confidently and independently Carry out level checks, as-built surveys and produce accurate survey records Identify and report discrepancies between drawings, control information and site conditions Liaise professionally with Site Managers, Project Managers, engineers and consultants Support topographical surveys, structural monitoring, measured building surveys and 3D laser scanning ..... full job details .....
