Position DescriptionPIMCO’s ESG Product Strategy team (ESG PSG) manages a wide range of strategies, initiatives, and projects. This individual will support the ESG PSG team, contributing to the growth of PIMCO’s ESG business and platform development.

Responsibilities:

Support the ESG Product Strategy team in addressing ESG client needs across institutional and retail channels (e.g., climate-related objectives).

Collaborate with business development on RFPs for new opportunities and conduct due diligence.

Perform detailed portfolio research and quantitative analysis using Excel, Bloomberg, and ESG data providers.

Produce attribution reports, market commentary, and other product analyses on a regular basis regarding ESG products.

Work with the broader Product Strategy Group to monitor and prioritize projects, following up with account managers to ensure ongoing client engagement.

Serve as an internal resource for client servicing and marketing teams on asset allocation questions.

Maintain marketing materials, including presentation books and ESG-related content.

Support the development of ESG reports such as PIMCO’s Sustainable Investing Report.

Conduct ad-hoc research on competitors and market trends, e.g., green bond markets.

Assist in developing new ESG-related products and funds.

Position Requirements:

1-3 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or related financial services.

Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting preferred.

Strong interest in ESG and financial markets.

Basic knowledge of fixed income.

Well organized, high energy, results-oriented self-starter.

Ability to work professionally across different seniority levels internally and externally.

Effective communication and organizational skills.
