We are currently seeking an interim Raw and Packaging Planner, to work with our global FMCG client U/L, renowned for brands, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment. The position is based in Seacroft, Leeds. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 12 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Compensation for this role is competitive, paying up to 36,260.80 per annum, pro rata, depending upon experience. The role currently offers a mix of remote and onsite working, subject to adjustment based on business requirements. Brief description The SU Logistics Team co-ordinate the sourcing of materials, the manufacture of finished goods and the delivery to our customers, as well as holding responsibility for the material and finished goods inventory.Purpose: As part of the Supply process the purpose of this role is to cost-effectively ensure 100% availability of materials to the production lines to ensure Customer Service whilst balancing cost and inventory. OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that all materials are available to meet agreed production plans whilst maintaining stocks within agreed company targets. Examines material schedules, reviews orders and call-offs, and brings any issues to the attention of the Demand Planner/Scheduler.
