About the role: Active Care in the Home are expanding our client base. We''re looking to recruit a brand-new team of Support Workers to care for our brand new young client in Alton. Our client is a 16 year old teenage boy who has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and a gastrostomy tube for all nutritional and medication needs. He requires oxygen PRN, full support with personal care and manual handling, is non-verbal, and is a wheelchair user. He attends school during the day, so we will be providing care before and after school, at the weekends, and overnight. Day time shifts will be 2:1 (double up shifts). The sleeping night shifts will be 1:1 support. We have the following shifts: Weekday mornings (7am-10am) and evenings (3pm-8pm) - please note that this is term time hours. During non-term time the hours change to long day shifts 8am-8pm Weekends (8am-8pm) Sleeping nights (9pm-7am) - please note that this is term time hours.
