Handyman/maintenance technician required!

Overview

My client is a leading provider in facilities management and they are in need for some holiday cover. They are seeking a proactive and versatile Handyman/Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the building maintenance and safety of our facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance tasks. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, building services, and equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor fabric works and assist the engineers on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
• Supervise maintenance tasks performed by junior staff or contractors, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Basic Handyman maintenance duties

Experience

• Proven experience in maintenance roles
• Facilities management maintenance experience
• Commercial experience
• Fabric repairs
• Must have own tools!
