Empowering Learning are looking to appoint a Head of Maths (Qualified or Unqualified) Teacher to work within a Secondary School (Alternate Provision) in Halesowen. This school is seeking a forward-thinking teacher with strong classroom management who can build rapport quickly with learners who may be disengaged with learning.Responsibilities

Teaching and delivering the Maths GCSE CurriculumDeliver high-quality Maths lessons on a daily basisSit in on SLT Team Meetings and contribute to key decisions within the Maths DepartmentAvailable PPA timeOpportunity for progression with added TLRQualifications and Experience

Previous experience within a Maths secondary school departmentTrack record of taking a leadership role within a schoolPassionate, enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile to help students reach their potentialExperience working with learners with learning difficulties (SEN)Ability to work well as part of a close-knit team and independently when neededWhat You Get
