BMS Service Engineer

Location: South & Central London
Salary: Up to -55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

An established and growing Building Management Systems specialist is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to join its expanding service division.

This field-based role combines planned and reactive maintenance with small works and project support across commercial and mixed-use sites throughout South & Central London, with occasional travel to surrounding areas including Surrey, Berkshire and Croydon.

The position offers exposure to a range of BMS platforms including Trend, Tridium, Distech and Delta Controls, alongside ongoing training and development opportunities.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs
• Diagnose and resolve faults across BMS systems
• Support small works, upgrades, and system improvements
• Assist with commissioning activities where required
• Produce service reports and technical documentation
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
• Participate in a 24-hour call-out rota (approx. 1 in 5 weeks)
• Identify remedial and upgrade opportunities on client sites

• Experience within the BMS / Building Controls industry
• Strong service and fault-finding background
• Experience with Trend systems
• Full UK driving licence

• Exposure to Tridium / Niagara systems
• Small works or commissioning experience
• HVAC / mechanical plant knowledge

• Strong technical and diagnostic ability
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Organised with strong time-management skills
• Proactive and solution-focused approach

• Salary up to -55,000
• Car allowance circa -4,800 per annum
• Overtime available:
  • Saturday: time-and-a-half
  • Sunday: double time
