The home offers 75 spacious ensuite bedrooms where residents are encouraged to personalise their space, creating a comfortable and supportive environment.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll provide compassionate, person-centred support to our residents, helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy.
Role: Care Assistant Location: 29 Glynde Road, Bexleyheath Salary: £12.81- £13.13ph (Dependent on if you hold any NVQ''s) Contracts available: 3 shifts per week (34.5 hours) OR 4 shifts per week (46 hours) Choice of Day shifts (7am–7pm) OR Night shifts (7pm–7am) Work on a rota basis, including weekends and public holidays In this rewarding role, you’ll work individually and as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and companionship to our residents.
What you’ll be doing: Checking on residents throughout the day and night to ensure their wellbeing and comfort Providing personal care with kindness and respect, supporting residents with daily activities while encouraging their independence Helping residents maintain their dignity and self-esteem through patient, compassionate care Contributing to care plans by working alongside residents and their families or representatives Supporting residents to take part in wellbeing and social activities both inside and outside the home Building positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and your team What you’ll bring: A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to your work Strong communication skills, both written and verbal A respectful, courteous, patient, and compassionate manner at all times Ideally, a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) The ability to work well independently and as part of a team Why join Canford Healthcare?
