Sales Representative

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Sales Representative to join a busy and successful builders and timber merchant based on the Wirral-

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional and a good knowledge of building materials and timber products.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, and working closely with the existing sales team to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with trade customers and contractors
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Managing customer enquiries and providing expert product advice
• Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
• Achieving sales targets and contributing to branch growth

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A minimum of 3 years'' experience within the Builders Merchants industry
• At least 3 years'' sales experience
• Strong knowledge of building materials and/or timber products
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
• The ability to build rapport and maintain strong customer relationships
• Confidence in identifying and converting new business opportunities
• Good English communication skills

Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary of -35,000 - -45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
