Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Cat 3 Supervisor on a 12 Month Rolling Contract, based in Hampshire. Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Cat 3 Supervisor to support delivery of works across the SSE Framework in the Southern patch, primarily based around Hampshire. The successful candidate will oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning activities on 132kV substations, ensuring all works are performed safely, compliantly, and to programme. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision and Delivery Supervise daily site activities across 132kV substation projects in line with SSE standards. Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to ensure safe and efficient delivery. Manage site logistics, access, and permits in accordance with SSE and statutory requirements. Ensure work is completed to specification, quality standards, and within schedule. Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Enforce SSE safety rules and CDM regulations at all times. Conduct toolbox talks, site briefings, and safety inspections. Report and manage incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances. Maintain accurate site records, RAMS, and HSE documentation. Technical and Project Support Oversee civil, electrical, and/or mechanical works within the 132kV substation environment. Support commissioning teams and ensure readiness of systems for testing.
