Payroll and HR Administrator

Astute Recruitment are pleased to be partnering a well-known Leicester based client who are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll and HR Administrator. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being an integral part of a team and knowing their decisions really matter. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end payroll processing (Monthly Payrolls) Maintain employee records, contracts, starters/leavers, and holiday/sick leave tracking Support onboarding and offboarding processes Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies Liaise with external payroll providers or HMRC as required Handle HR-related queries and support line managers with administrative HR tasks Finance Team Support: Assist with processing invoices, expense claims, and reconciliations Support month-end and year-end reporting activities Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a similar payroll/HR administrative role (essential) Familiarity with payroll software and HRIS systems Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively Confident, self-motivated, and able to hit the ground running Benefits and Hours: Salary up to 35,000 depending on experience Flexible start and fini
