We''re looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy, high-output manufacturing operation in northamptonshire, working a Panama night shift pattern.

You''ll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently, maintaining and repairing a range of electrical and mechanical equipment, responding to breakdowns and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

What will you be doing?
·Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across a range of production machinery and equipment.
·Diagnosing and rectifying faults, including working with PLC-controlled systems.
·Responding promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
·Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability.
·Identifying recurring faults and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
·Working closely with production and engineering colleagues to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
·Supporting the wider engineering team and taking on additional responsibility as you develop.
·Working towards future Team Leader responsibilities for the right individual.
What are we looking for?
We''re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background and good mechanical capability. Ideally, you''ll have experience within a manufacturing, production or other high-volume engineering environment.
You may have one or more of the following:
·BTEC/ONC or equivalent qualification in an Electrical or Multi-Skilled Engineering discipline.
·City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 Electro-Technical qualification alongside NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance.
·Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or be time-served.
·HNC/HND in Electrical, Mechanical or Production Maintenance Engineering.
·Experience fault-finding on PLC-controlled machinery.
·A strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
·The ambition to develop your skills and progress into a Team Leader position.
