We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Slough from September. Whether youandrsquo;re an experienced teacher looking for flexible working opportunities or an ECT eager to build classroom experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a well-regarded local school.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and ensuring pupils remain motivated and make meaningful progress during your time with them.

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in accordance with school policies and curriculum objectives
• Maintain effective behaviour management and promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture
• Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to varying school settings and teaching approaches
• Support equal access to learning, ensuring that all students are given the opportunity to succeed and thrive

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective organisational skills
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Hold a current DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
