Tradewind Recruitment is working with primary schools across Bury that require dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants.The role will involve helping pupils access learning and supporting their wider development. Depending on the setting, you could be working with pupils with autism, ADHD, communication difficulties or other additional needs.Some positions are classroom-based, while others involve providing more focused support to an individual pupil or small group.The successful Teaching Assistant will:Support pupils with additional educational needsWork alongside the class teacher to adapt activitiesEncourage communication and independenceProvide one-to-one and small-group supportAssist with classroom routinesPromote positive behaviourHelp pupils access the curriculumDevelop trusting relationships with childrenA calm, patient and consistent approach is particularly important.
