Freelance Site Manager - Retail ShopfittingLocation: StaffordshireRate: 280- 300 per dayDuration: 8-12 WeeksWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a retail shopfitting project in Staffordshire.The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail fit out and shopfitting, ideally with experience delivering high-street retail stores, supermarket fit outs or wider commercial refurbishment projects.You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the site, coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the required standard. Key Responsibilities:Managing the day-to-day running of the site.Coordinating subcontractors, shopfitters and specialist trades.Overseeing internal fit out, fixtures, fittings and finishing works.Managing site logistics, deliveries and materials.Ensuring works are completed in line with drawings and specifications.Driving the programme and maintaining quality standards.Managing health and safety, RAMS and site documentation. Requirements:Previous experience as a Site Manager within retail fit out or shopfitting.Experience delivering retail stores, supermarkets or similar projects.Strong knowledge of internal fit out and finishing works.Confident managing subcontractors and multiple trades.SMSTS.CSCS Card.First Aid qualification.
