Canary Wharf Permanent 4 days per week Hybrid Our client, a well-established charity based in Canary Wharf, is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis. Working four days per week, with two days in the office and two days from home, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation and play an important role within its finance function. You will support the day-to-day running of the accounts function, ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and on time, while maintaining strong financial controls and accurate records. Key responsibilities: Process accounts payable and receivable invoices Manage supplier invoices, staff expenses and payment requests Monitor outstanding balances and support credit control Complete bank and supplier reconciliations Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly Support month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations Maintain accurate financial records and clear audit trails Respond to queries from internal teams and external suppliers Provide general support to the wider finance team About you: At least 2 years'' relevant accounts experience Good understanding of accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations Experience using Xero and strong Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Well organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities Confident communicator with strong stakeholder skills Proactive, positive and keen to contribute as ..... full job details .....
