Job Description

• Build and deliver strategic commodity plans that support low-volume, high value manufacturing and long-term business requirements.
• Lead supplier sourcing, contract and pricing negotiations across current production and future vehicle programmes.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Programme teams to support vehicle launches, resolve supplier challenges and achieve programme targets.
• Take commercial ownership of key production commodities, securing high-quality components at the right cost while maintaining continuity of supply.
• Manage purchasing and supplier activity to ensure components are available in line with requirements.
• Drive commercial improvements and cost-reduction initiatives without compromising component quality, engineering standards or production delivery.

• Proven experience as a buyer or similar Procurement role
• Comfortable working within a fast growing business environment
• Track record working in procurement within precision engineering or automotive environments
• Experience of developing and communicating Procurement Commodity Strategies
