Job Description
Use your knowledge, experience and networks to help create and support a Private Banking service that caters to the unique needs of High Net Worth (HNW) Media Clients. Develop and enhance relationships with a cross-section of HNW Media Clients to create strategic partnerships founded on a comprehensive, knowledgeable and collaborative way of working. Successfully represent the Bank externally and internally.Where applicable, to place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers; and to comply with the FCA and PRA''s Conduct Rules.Key Responsibilities:Client ManagementManaging performance to meet demanding business targets and ensure unwavering commitment to service excellenceDeveloping a relationship as your Clients’ strategic partner in the bank and acting as a gateway to our products and servicesManaging a criteria client portfolio (including the management of a loan book) with particular focus on its impact on the PandL and the Balance SheetDevelop and present business cases that match appropriate financial products to our Client’s needsTake primary responsibility for management of clients within your portfolioClient AcquisitionManaging your network of personal and business relationships to acquire, develop and service ClientsRisk:Take overall responsibility for your risk and regulatory performanceResponsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and proceduresKey Interfaces:Clients (and Client representatives)Private Banking team (including fellow bankers / Private Banking Executives / Credit Analysts)Credit Risk / Onboarding / Operations teams / Arbuthnot Latham Investment ManagementPerson Specification
Knowledge / Experience/Skills:You will have a successful background in Wealth Management with broad experience across the financial services industry and detailed knowledge of the Private Banking marketPrivate Banking experience (dealing with HNW individuals)Ability to identify and close cross sale opportunities within your portfolioProven track record of deliveryExceptional Relationship SkillsEffective management of risk controls and adherence to regulatory requirementsSkillsExcellent Interpersonal skills (Networking, Negotiation, Presentation, Influencing)Excellent Business Development skillsExcellent Business Case writing skillsQualifications:Relevant Banking, Financial Planning and/ or Investment Management QualificationsLevel 4 qualified including CeMAP expectation.
