Prospero Teaching is looking to fill an HLTA position at a Primary School in WF2 to start on a full time basis from Easter:
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous HLTA experience and an HLTA qualification
- Establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
- Be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
- Have effective verbal and written communication
- Support the use of support staff relevant to the class
- Contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment
- Have experience working with SEN/SEMH needs
- Have strong behaviour management techniques

Location - Wakefield (WF2)
Position - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (KS1 - KS2)
Start date - April 13th 2026
Duration - Temporary - Permanent
Hours - Full time (8:30 - 15:30)
