This role sits within a high-performing technical team delivering solutions that have real-world impact across the UK Government sector. You''ll work on data-focused systems, contributing across the full software lifecycle while supporting and improving secure Oracle-based platforms and automation using Ansible. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, document and support software components within a secure system environmentProvide accurate estimates for development effort from given specificationsWork with a strong focus on data processing and database-driven systemsSupport and develop Oracle and Ansible-based infrastructure, including automationAnalyse code defects and deliver timely, robust fixes Required Skills and Experience Strong background as a DBA / data-focused software engineerHands-on experience with Oracle and AnsibleSolid understanding of backend systems and data processingProven ability to troubleshoot, analyse and resolve complex technical issuesComfortable working collaboratively within Agile teams Desirable
