People Operations Coordinator
PEOPLE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
We are recruiting on behalf of an innovative AI technology company transforming the global film and entertainment industry. This is an entry-level opportunity for a proactive, highly organised People Operations Partner who thrives on bringing order to complexity and supporting others to do their best work.
You will play a central role in supporting employees and managers day-to-day, improving transparency and consistency, and enabling the People, Talent, and Finance teams through smart systems and thoughtful collaboration. This role is ideal for someone curious, solutions-focused, and motivated by purpose rather than hierarchy, who values trust, ownership, and continuous improvement within a forward-thinking, ethical AI environment.
PEOPLE OPERATIONS COORDINATOR ROLE:
- Owning and continuously improving the full employee lifecycle to maximise ramp-up time, engagement and performance
- Acting as the first point of contact for employees globally, providing clear guidance on policies, processes and people-related questions
- Owning the office environment and ensuring it supports productivity, collaboration and culture
- Building bridges between the London and LA teams through socials and team bonding
- Developing and supporting managers through high-impact resources, guidance and hands-on partnership
- Improving employee trust through transparent communication, clear processes and consistent follow-through
- Designing and delivering employee sessions that build trust and transparency
- Owning and optimising People systems and workflows including Humaans, Rippling, Expensify and related tools
- Automating routine work to free up the People team and improve the employee and manager experience
- Supporting Finance through payroll, equity administration and systems administration
- Powering the Talent team through scheduling, metrics support, automation and improved People–Talent workflow integration
- Taking initiative and ownership when spotting problems and opportunities, operating comfortably with ambiguity
- Demonstrating curiosity and a love of learning
- Showing a genuine passion for helping people, with evidence of building strong and trusting relationships
- Bringing 1–3 years of customer-facing experience with a diverse range of personality types, including part-time work while studying
- Being deeply operational and highly organised, bringing simplicity, clarity and consistency to complexity
- Showing passion for utilising AI tools and automation such as Lovable, Claude, n8n and custom GPTs to improve workflows and scale impact
- Communicating complex information in a simple, non-corporate and engaging way
