The Opportunity
A UK Leading FM Service Provider is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Operations - Soft FM to lead the operational delivery of a major healthcare facilities management contract in London.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for overseeing a broad range of Soft FM services, leading large operational teams and ensuring consistently high standards of service delivery, compliance, commercial performance and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing the operational strategy for the contract, building strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and driving continuous improvement across a complex healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of multiple Soft FM service lines across a large and complex healthcare environment.
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to improve service quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Take overall accountability for operational performance, financial performance and P&L management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a key point of escalation.
- Ensure contractual obligations, KPIs, SLAs, compliance requirements and service standards are consistently achieved.
- Lead, manage and develop a large operational and management team, creating a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and service delivery while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and service transformation across the contract.
- Oversee workforce planning, succession planning and talent development.
- Provide strong leadership during organisational change, consultation processes and TUPE activity where required.
- Ensure effective governance, reporting and performance management across all Soft FM services.
- Promote a strong culture of health, safety, compliance, customer service and operational excellence.

About You
We are looking for an experienced senior FM professional who can demonstrate:
- Significant senior operational leadership experience within Facilities Management, Healthcare FM or another complex, multi-service environment.
- Strong experience managing Soft FM services and large-scale contracts.
- A proven track record of leading large, multi-disciplinary operational teams.
- Strong commercial understanding, including budget management and P&L accountability.
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to operate at senior and executive level.
- Experience delivering operational transformation, efficiency programmes and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of contractual performance, KPIs, SLAs and governance.
- Experience managing organisational change, employee relations and TUPE processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
- A strategic and commercially focused approach combined with strong operational leadership.
