Security Guard MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To assist with the overall task of maintaining security on site including issuing of passes and reporting visitors. Additionally providing a service to the entire site, approximately 150 employees, regarding first aid assistance, accident reporting and covering reception duties out of normal office hours. Be the first point of contact to the site for all deliveries, visitors, contractors, etc and represent the Company in a professional and engaging manner at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Follow Security procedures. 2. Ensuring the Irlam site is safe and secure at all times.Locking of all Pedestrian gates / Service yard gates andbarriers as required nightly. 3. Physical presence at the entrance barrier during staff arrival on site 4. Patrolling of factory, offices and outbuildings. Ensuring all doors / shutters / gates are locked. Physical patrols to take place 6 times per night on both weekday nights and on weekend days and nights. 5. CCTV patrols - to be recorded hourly utilising individualsecurity login. 6. Operating of the intruder Alarm Systems / Fire alarm systems / Access control systems. 7. Ensure accurate records are kept on the Security PC including Diary / Handover / Keys / Licence Checks / Deliveries and Collections / Pool car / Energy Report / Accident reports / Incident reporting / Diesel log and All other associated checks within Security.
