PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client working within the Civil Engineering Sector to recruit a Head of Finance to Join their team on a permanent basis.

Head of Finance Roles and Responsibilities

• Shaping and implementing long-term financial plans that align with the company''s vision and future objectives
• Providing leadership, management and mentorship to the Accounts/finance team, fostering professional growth and building a high-performing and collaborative department
• Leading the preparation and review of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
• Overseeing the production of management accounts and KPIs, providing senior leadership with analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Developing and monitoring budgets and cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing regular updates to directorship
• Driving effective credit control and cash management, working closely alongside Commercial teams where required
• Ensuring compliance with pension regulations, overseeing the company pension scheme and all related financial obligations
• Managing financial risk and governance, including VAT, CIS submissions, and other statutory requirements
• Advising on funding arrangements and financial structuring for business growth and investment opportunities
• Managing compliance with regulatory reporting
• Monitoring financial performance of the business, providing actionable insights to improve profitability
• Leading continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, ensuring robust internal controls and efficiency

Head of Finance Requirements

• Hold the relevant ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
• Have a proven track record in financial leadership and team development
• Experience working within a similar industry (Civil Engineering, Construction
• Have a full, UK, clean driving licence
