Electrician
Location: Across North Somerset & Bristol
Salary: £41,422 per annum Company Van & Benefits
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a successful Electrical Team. Working across residential properties within North Somerset and Bristol, you will be responsible for carrying out rewiring, repairs, testing, inspection, and installation work on both 230v and 415v systems. You will also support the installation of energy-saving and carbon-reducing technologies as part of Alliance Homes'' commitment to sustainability and delivering high-quality homes.

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, rewiring, and installation works.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and efficiently.
• Undertake testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations.
• Install and maintain energy-saving and carbon-reducing technologies.
• Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Complete all documentation and reports accurately using digital systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service and a "right first-time" approach.
• Work independently across a designated geographical area while supporting wider business needs when required.
• Manage risks associated with lone working and maintain professional standards at all times.

• City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification.
• AM2 Certificate.
• Proven experience working within electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Working knowledge of the current edition of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Ability to work independently and manage lone-working risks.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High level of IT literacy and confidence using digital technologies.
• Ability to make sound, evidence-based decisions and identify practical solutions.
• Full UK clean driving licence.

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• Experience within social housing, housing associations, or property maintenance.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and professional boundary standards.
• Experience installing energy-efficient or renewable technologies.
