This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-profile project, contributing to its commercial success while working alongside an experienced construction and commercial team.Key Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:Support the Senior and Managing QS in implementing commercial strategyPrepare tenders, select and negotiate with subcontractors, and manage them through to final accountMaintain accurate site records and measurement documentationAssist in preparing forecasts, CVRs, valuations, and variationsUpdate and submit projected final accountsLiaise with site management to influence and challenge commercial decisionsEnsure contractual entitlements are protectedContribute to risk and opportunity reviewsSupport cash flow and insurance/warranty managementMentor and oversee junior QS staffRequirements of a Quantity Surveyor:Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldWorking towards professional accreditation (e.g., CIOB)Strong understanding of JCT contractsSkilled in CVRs, report writing, and negotiationCommercial and contractual awarene
