Manufacturing Engineer We are seeking an entry level Manufacturing Engineer to support the transition from design through to production within a high-precision manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing machining strategies, designing tooling and fixtures, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Create setup sheets, process booklets, tool assembly instructions, and detailed manufacturing documentation. Work collaboratively with Production and Quality departments to improve manufacturing methods and reduce machining time and labour costs. Troubleshoot machining and process issues to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cycle time reduction, tooling optimisation, and process capability. Support Sales and Marketing teams by contributing manufacturing concepts, technical input, and quotation support for new business opportunities. Assist with cost estimation and manufacturability reviews for potential projects. Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure customer requirements are achieved efficiently and economically. Essential Criteria: HNC/HND, Degree, or relevant apprenticeship with a minimum of 1 years experience in industry Good understanding of CNC machining strategies and manufacturing processes.
