We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team, supporting a major project based in Aldermaston.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused QS with strong NEC4 Option A experience to work on a long-term project while benefiting from a flexible working arrangement between site and the company''s office in Wombourne.

The Role

• Managing the commercial aspects of a live project.
• Administering and managing contracts under NEC4 Option A.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and valuations.
• Managing subcontractor accounts and payments.
• Variations, compensation events and change management.
• Working closely with the project and commercial teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Attending both the Aldermaston project site and the Wombourne office as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC4 Option A contracts is essential.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the wider commercial team.
• Must be able to gain access to and travel to the Aldermaston project site.
• Happy to split time between the Wombourne office and site, with flexibility around working days.
