We improve health for everyone by funding science, leading policy and advocacy campaigns, and building partnerships. We plan to spend £16bn over the next ten years, funding new discoveries in life, health, and wellbeing, and taking on three global health challenges: mental health, infectious disease and climate and health. These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won''t be solved by science alone. We are looking for a Research Manager to join the climate and health team, working on the health co-benefits health co-benefits of climate mitigation, with a particular focus on super pollutants. Where in Wellcome will I be working? You will be working in the Mitigation Team, within the Climate and Health Research Programme. The Mitigation Team supports the generation of robust, relevant health evidence to drive climate mitigation that benefits the health of both people and planet. We develop and fund transdisciplinary research that is co-produced by scientists, decision-makers and affected communities. We are passionate about advancing science in order to develop and enable climate and health solutions.
