Business Development Manager

Full-time, permanent role

Mix between office in Hertfordshire & travelling to meetings

Need to have strong construction experience

• Research market trends, track upcoming capital projects, and spot emerging sector opportunities (e.g., residential, commercial & education).
• Manage a strong sales/tender pipeline, qualify incoming inquiries, and proactively pitch services or products.
• Collaborate with estimating, commercial, and bid teams to shape winning proposals, PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) responses, and presentations.
• Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms with clients, and hand over secured projects smoothly to the operational delivery team.
• Track sales forecasts, CRM data, conversion rates, and competitor activity for senior leadership.
