West Midlands Growth Company is evolving its commercial strategy and expanding its partnerships programme. As Senior Account Manager, you’ll work with some of the world’s most recognised brands to deliver partnership value, secure new income, and strengthen relationships that fuel regional growth. You’ll combine C-suite engagement with hands-on account delivery, managing a diverse portfolio and shaping propositions that align partner objectives with WMGC’s missionWhat to Expect in This Role
Own a premium portfolio:
Manage 20+ corporate accounts within the Partners West Midlands (PWM) programme across sectors including BPFS, built environment, digital/tech and advanced manufacturing.Design partnership value:
Build bespoke benefit packages and deliver standard rights, aligning each partner’s growth needs with WMGC initiatives and networks.Hit revenue targets:
Deliver ambitious commercial income goals while developing a long-term growth strategy for PWM.Grow the network:
Research, source and secure new partners in priority sectors, including opportunities linked to trade missions and sector-specific activity.Lead and develop talent:
Line-manage the PWM Partnerships Manager, setting income/delivery targets and overseeing performance.Plan and report:
Support analysis and business planning, and report achievements against coordinated activities.Collaborate across WMGC:
Coordinate with marketing, inward investment, tourism and other teams to surface opportunities and deliver partner events/activities.Are You the Right Fit?
