Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Camden Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Environmental Health Officer this role will be based at: Hybrid N1C 4AG, 1 day in office plus inspections in the borough, remaining time is working from home The right candidate will: Manage a caseload of reactive/disrepair cases Efficiently and proactively manage a case load of complex cases, this will include service of notices and robust enforcement decisions. Attend tribunal when notices are appealed Respond to service requests concerning environmental health housing, following service policy and procedures to achieve an appropriate outcome. Investigation of service requests and use of appropriate enforcement action in line with the departmental enforcement policy and other relevant guidance. Prepare appropriate specifications, reports, notices, schedules and other related documentation and serve CPN''s for failure to comply with notices where appropriate. Ensure appropriate and timely responses to all correspondence, complaints and enquiries from the service users, stakeholders, senior officers within agreed timescales and in line with Camden''s Customer Care Standards.
