Senior Quantity SurveyorWe have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly reputable regional main contractor based in Exeter. The business operates out of several offices across the country, and as a group undertakes projects across a diverse project portfolio including education, healthcare, commercial, heritage and light industrial valuing typically up to 15mil. They''re now looking to expand their team in Exeter with an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working as commercial lead on projects managing them from pre-construction through to final account. You will report into the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for managing / mentoring junior members of staff. Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tendersOversee the projects procurement / management of sub-contractor packagesDeal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may ariseLiaise with the clients teams Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNCHave experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NECMust live in a commutable location to Exeter and be happy to visit office and ..... full job details .....
