Electrical Contract Engineering Lead

Overview
Electrical Contract Engineering Lead role for the SZC/HPC projects, supporting the development of the electrical discipline within EPR-E. The position oversees the technical aspects of an electrical equipment procurement contract and is part of an engineering team with guidance from senior engineers and experts as needed.Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for the client organisation on all matters related to the electrical equipment contract and provide technical support to resolve issues.Oversee the technical management of suppliers and support the client in its contractual relationship during the execution phase—focusing on schedule compliance, costs, scope of supply, and technical studies.Review supplier documentation against technical standards, ensure timely delivery with appropriate quality, and coordinate input from contributors.Coordinate the work of technical leads, system engineers, and subject matter experts to meet deadlines.Produce and manage comment sheets to be sent to suppliers via a dedicated tool; organise clarification meetings when necessary.Manage contract modifications and inform suppliers via Contract Transfer Sheets (CTS) through dedicated tools.Serve as the main contact for all modifications and impact assessments related to the contract scope, including technical issues or non-conformities arising from site activities.Manage risks, opportunities, open points, and contract changes in collaboration with the client.Handle interfaces with all Edvance disciplines involved in providing input data for the low-voltage switchboard contract and with Edvance teams relying on the detailed design of the electrical equipment contract.Coordinate with the qualification team based in Edvance France and monitor all Delivery to Site (DTS) dates for the equipment.Profile
Essential Qualifications, Experience and SkillsElectrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.Experience in work related to electrical distribution components and technical documentation review.Ability to effectively manage own workload to produce high-quality documents and meet deadlines.Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder management with proven experience.Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in English (written and spoken).Proactive and confident in communicating with colleagues, including those based in remote offices such as France.Proactive in developing positive working relations within the project.Continuously seeking opportunities to improve the quality of engineering studies and resulting documentation.Desirable Qualifications, Experience and SkillsRelevant experience in the nuclear industry.Knowledge of EPR electrical distribution design principles, Instrumentation and Control architecture, and Safety Classification.Knowledge of RCC-E electrical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909).Experience of working on an operating plant or on an industrial site.Languages (level): French – bonus.Benefits
