This is an exciting opportunity to apply your passion for Mechanical Design to the design and development of innovative fuel cell products.Key Responsibilities:Deliver designs and documentation detailing parts and assemblies that are manufacturable against a set of customer requirementsIncorporate engineering best practices, including DfX principles, into the product development lifecycleContribute to the long-term mechanical design strategy to standardise, simplify, and modularise productsWork collaboratively with cross-functional teams, both technical and non-technicalApply structured design process methodologiesDemonstrate application of DfX principles, including Design for Manufacture (DfM)Define and deliver sub-systems, when requiredJob Requirements:Proven product development experience in an agile and fast-paced environmentCommercial mindset and solutions-focused approachExcellent communication skillsHold a BEng, BSc (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or possess an appropriate non-degree level qualification with suitable industry experienceHands-on experience with structured design process methodologiesProficiency in a 3D parametric CAD package, preferably SolidWorksKnowledge of FMEA application and an understanding of manufacturing limitations and techniquesBenefits:Opportunity to work at our client''s Loughborough FacilityColl
