The role: 

• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Art and Design lessons
• Marking students work and providing feedback effectively 
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages participation and promotes overall well-being.
• Prepare students for language examinations 
• Monitor individual student progress, using innovative feedback methods for personalised independent growth 
• Collaborate with colleagues to create innovative lesson materials and exchange effective teaching strategies
• Daily rate between £183.28 - £279.69 through Umbrella contract (PAYE contract also available)

• A teacher with the drive and ability to secure excellent rates of progress and attainment for all children no matter their starting point

• A teacher who is able to develop strong partnerships with parents and the community

Qualifications:

• An Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one through anzuk
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or UK recognised teaching qualification.
• An up-to-date CV outlining employment covering the last 10 years
• Proven experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary level.
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum for Art and Design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
