I''m currently recruiting for a Finance Graduate opportunity, based in Swansea.This role reports directly to the Management Accountant and plays a key part in supporting the financial management and operational performance of the site. It offers excellent exposure across plant finance, giving you the opportunity to get involved in both day-to-day reporting and wider business improvement initiatives.Key areas of responsibility include:Supporting daily financial reporting and plant controlling activities, including operational metrics such as productivity, cost, and absorption analysisAssisting with inventory and costing processes, including maintaining records and supporting reserve calculationsContributing to month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepaymentsSupporting budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational plansCarrying out margin and variance analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesWorking closely with operations and sales teams to support production forecasting and cost analysisCollaborating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support performance improvementsGetting involved in process improvement initiatives and project work as you develop in the roleThis position would suit a finance graduate who is analytical, organised, and keen to build a career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
