Engineering Site Facilities Manager Workington, Cumbria c. 63,000 + bonus + benefits The opportunity We are seeking an experienced Site Facilities Manager to oversee site services, utilities, buildings and infrastructure at a manufacturing site in Workington. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for statutory compliance, reliable delivery of essential utilities, effective facilities maintenance, and the management of engineering stores and site services teams. Working closely with Engineering and Production colleagues, you will help maintain a safe, compliant and efficient site while identifying opportunities to improve reliability, reduce waste and energy use, and drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities Ensure site facilities and engineering services meet relevant statutory, regulatory and safety requirements, including lifting equipment, Legionella controls and insurance inspections. Oversee the safe, reliable and efficient supply and distribution of site utilities, including refrigeration, water, compressed air and electricity. Ensure buildings and infrastructure are maintained to meet applicable food safety, health, safety and environmental standards. Manage engineering stores and maintain effective stock and stores management practices. Lead and coordinate internal teams, external service providers and contractors, promoting safe working practices and strong contractor relationships.
