This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference and champion neurodiversity.The Role Support pupils with autism both in and out of the classroomEncourage communication, social interaction, independence, and emotional regulationImplement structured routines, personalised strategies, and positive behaviour support plansAssist with transitions, group activities, and one-to-one interventionsWork closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to monitor progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs)Support pupils during lunch, break times, and school trips The Ideal Candidate Experience supporting children with autismCalm, patient, consistent, and empathetic approachStrong understanding of autism-specific strategies, communication tools, and sensory needsAble to build trusting relationships with pupils, families, and school staffHolds an enhanced DBS or is willing to apply for oneProactive, adaptable, and committed to championing neurodiversity What s On Offer Daily pay from £85Ongoing support from a dedicated consultantAccess to autism-specific CPD and trainingOpportunity to secure a permanent roleFlexible working and the chance to make a meaningful impact How to Apply
