Management Accountant - 6 - 9 Month FTCSalary: Up to £50,000 (d.o.e) + Car and BenefitsLocation: Remote / Northampton - very occasional travel to the Northampton office Purpose of the Role We''re recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join an established organisation on a 6 - 9 month fixed-term contract. This is a predominantly remote opportunity, offering plenty of ownership across month-end reporting, management accounts, balance sheet reporting and process improvement. The role would suit someone who is comfortable working autonomously, has strong Excel skills, and enjoys getting into the detail to understand and improve financial processes. Key Duties Support the preparation of monthly and annual management accounts. Produce monthly financial reports and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved. Prepare and complete monthly journals, working with relevant stakeholders to obtain appropriate supporting information. Take ownership of monthly balance sheet reporting, investigating queries and driving issues through to resolution. Take ownership of key financial reports, ensuring they remain accurate, efficient and fit for purpose. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automate processes and increase efficiency across finance. Support year-end activity, including audit requests and liaison with external auditors.
