Sales Manager - Bristol
£50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus
Monday - Friday Full time 40 hours week
We are currently seeking a sales Manager for a well-established distribution company based in Avonmouth. You will be responsible for leading a team of Customer Account Managers and Area Sales Managers, driving sales growth, and developing customer accounts.
Main Duties:
Lead, motivate, and manage the branch Sales team, setting goals and providing guidance, coaching, and support as required.
Develop new business opportunities and customer accounts, building strong, long-lasting relationships.
Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed branch targets, ensuring consistent business growth.
Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with other departments to deliver excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
Attend meetings and training sessions, occasionally requiring travel.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years'' experience in a sales and/or operational management role.
Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, especially under pressure.
Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, customer-focused mindset, with a genuine drive to grow sales and support the company''s interests.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
Driving licence preferred.
