Product Controller (VP/AD Level) 6 month FTCSalary range: market rateLocation: LondonWe are partnered with a company who are seeking an experienced Product Control to join their London team for a 6-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant and able to step in quickly to provide strong control, oversight, and stakeholder support.Key Responsibilities:End-to-end Product Control ownership for assigned trading desks.Daily, monthly, and quarterly PandL production and reporting.PandL substantiation and balance sheet reconciliations.Analysis and explanation of PandL movements, valuation adjustments, and reserves.Close collaboration with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations.Ensure adherence to financial controls, governance, and regulatory standards.Support audits, reviews, and ad-hoc senior management requests.Requirements:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent).Proven experience in Product Control within investment banking or financial services.Asset class experience in Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and/or Exotics.Strong understanding of PandL, valuations, and financial controls.Comfortable operating at VP / Associate Director level.Inventum Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
