JOB - Electrical Controls and Automation Project Design Engineer LOCATION - Norfolk TERM - Permanent SALARY - £45,000 - £50,000 DOE My client is a growing electrical engineering and control systems business, delivering automation, control systems and LV switchgear solutions to a range of industrial clients. They are looking for a Lead Engineer - Electrical Controls and Automation, to manage projects from initial enquiry through to delivery, testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have: Experience in electrical design, industrial automation, controls or project engineering Strong knowledge of control systems and LV switchgear Experience using EPLAN and AutoCAD to produce electrical schematics and panel layouts Good understanding of EN60204 and BS7671 Experience with control panel and backplate design HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Knowledge of UKCA/CE requirements; UL 508A advantageous Experience with pneumatic systems advantageous Galaxy 3 / Cubic software experience advantageous Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK The role will involve: Managing control systems and LV switchgear projects from enquiry through to delivery Producing electrical schematics, control panel layouts and technical documentation Preparing quotations, estimates and technical proposals Liaising with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and production teams Supporting FAT, site commissioning, fault finding and project ..... full job details .....
